Robin Witt is a Chicago-based director, actor, and teacher. She most recently directed Harper Regan at Steep Theatre. Robin most recently directed Ferber/Kaufman’s Stage Door for the Griffin Theatre, Harper Regan for Steep Theatre, and India Song at UNC/Charlotte. She is a director, actor, and teacher, and she has worked with A Red Orchid, Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, Mary-Arrchie Theatre, Remy Bumppo, Creative Directions, The Goodman Theatre, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Everyman Theatre (Baltimore, MD), Wisdom Bridge, Center Theater, Columbia College, University of Notre Dame, DePaul University, Dominican University, and North Park University. Robin is an Assistant Professor of Directing at UNC. She has an MFA in Directing from Northwestern University, and a BFA in Acting from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Next up for Robin: she will be directing Enda Walsh’s The New Electric Ballroom for A Red Orchid Theatre in January 2011, and Simon Stephen’s Pornography for Steep Theatre in the summer of 2011.
