Morgan hails from Chevy Chase, Maryland. Since graduating with a degree in Philosophy from The University of Chicago, he has worked as an actor, director, assistant director, and playwright. His first production with the Griffin was Stage Door (d. Robin Witt). He also appeared in No More Dead Dogs (d. Dorothy Milne), The Burnt Part Boys (d. Jonathan Berry) and Golden Boy (d. Jonathan Berry). Around town, he’s performed with The House Theatre of Chicago, Steppenwolf, Jackalope, Dog + Pony, the Inconvenience, American Theatre Company, Collaboraction, New Leaf, Buzz22 Chicago, Theater Mir and Lifeline, among others. He is an ensemble member of Screen Door Productions and has acted in their films The Sixth Bullet, I Am A Rocket Scientist, Night of the Magician and Sam: A Fairy Tale. Morgan directed the world premieres of I Fucking Hate Myself by Mitch Salm, as well as Bicycle: A Modern Drama by Mitch Salm and Bryan Duff.
